  • Specific power
    up to 200 Wp/m², depending on module’s surface coverage by SEEN Elements.
  • Laminating polymer/customization
    According to the client’s specific pattern, custom-size elements (dots, squares, lines, or customized forms) are individually placed on a PVB or EVA foil.
  • Color/materiality
    Metalized elements made of aluminum, aluminum semi-reflective, titanium or titanium nitride.
    Optional angular color-shifting effect (blue-green or red-yellow). 3D effect depending on the selected metal coating
  • Dimensions
    Custom made, up to 3.210 mm in width, no length limitation.
  • Lamination/assembly of solar modules
    Manufacturer’s standard lamination process,
    Applicable to crystalline, thin-film PV modules and dummy elements.
  • PV performance
    Linearly dependent on the PV cells surface coverage, e.g. approx. 95% of the standard PV module performance with a covered area of 5%, approx. 90% of the standard performance for a 10% coverage and so on.

Module

PV module assembled with black crystalline cells and SEEN elements: small metallic shiny dots with titanium nitride coating and larger red-yellow color-shifting dots. A 10% partial occultation of the PV cells by the design elements reduces the electricity production by about 10%. Credits: SEEN AG.
