4th Symposium Solar Architecture

The 4th Symposium Solar Architecture organised by Swissolar, TEC21, solarchitecture.ch and SwissEnergy will take place in Basel on 13.09.2022. Participation is also possible online. This year’s event revolves around the goal of net zero.

 

 

The integration of solar-active elements in buildings can make an important contribution to climate-neutral construction in Switzerland. Alexander Franz from Herzog and de Meuron, Toufiq Ismail-Meyer from COMAMALA ISMAIL ARCHITECTES, Stefanie Bärtschi from BKG Architekten AG and Christian Renken from CR Energie GmbH will report on their practical experience and insights gained on net-zero in current projects. You can also expect exciting background knowledge on building renovations and strategies with solar. In the afternoon, the new building of the Office for Environment and Energy of the Canton of Basel-Stadt (AUE) will be visited with Sven Kowalewsky from jessenvollenweider architektur ag, as well as the residential development Im Heuwinkel, in Allschwil.
