Photovoltaics for stability and flexibility

Seventeen percent — that is how high the expected share of solar electricity in Swiss power consumption will be this year. In doing so, we must not only achieve the Federal Council’s further ambitious solar targets, but above all also contribute to the stability and flexibility of the energy system. Join us and exchange ideas with industry experts at the Swiss Photovoltaics Conference 2026 in the new Festhalle Bern. As an association member, you receive a 25% discount on all ticket categories. An additional early-bird discount is available until the end of February.

This annual two-day summit for decision-makers and professionals in the Swiss photovoltaic sector is jointly organised by Swissolar, the Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (VSE), and SwissEnergy. The wide-ranging programme addresses, among other topics, political framework conditions, the market and its challenges, key areas of research, and the integration of solar energy into buildings and power grids. The conference is complemented by an expo featuring key players from the solar industry as well as a scientific poster exhibition.
