The “Maison Climat” with its 20 rental flats combines the social, economic and ecological aspects of sustainability. This timber construction complies with the Minergie-A standard and ensures diversity and a neighbourhood identity through inner settlement development and typological, spatial and technical simplicity. At this year’s event «Forum Solares Bauen» from Swissolar on 01.06.2022, the Maison Climat in Biel will be presented and visited.

With sustainability at its core, this residential building with its building-integrated photovoltaic installation is a flagship project in times of climate crisis.

There will be an interdisciplinary discussion with professionals who were involved in the project. The event will conclude with an aperitif and the opportunity to network.
