5th Symposium Solar Architecture – 2023

26th September 2023

The 5th Symposium Solar Building will take place on the 26th of September at the Kongresshaus in Zurich. Participation is also possible online. This year’s edition is dedicated to the currently burning issues of design, project implementation, fire protection and much more.

The Symposium Solar Architecture is organised by the Swiss Solar Energy Association Swissolar, the trade journal for architecture and construction TEC21, the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects SIA, solarchitecture.ch and the Chair of Architecture and Building Systems at ETH Zurich.

We are pleased to have Mathias Stocker, from Boltshauser Architekten AG, Zurich, to present the H1 high-rise building on the Zwhatt site in Regensdorf, followed by a discussion with moderator Judit Solt, Editor in chief of TEC21.

On the basis of further concrete current projects by Haddock Architecture Paris, Duplex Architekten, Gäumann Lüdi von der Ropp and many more, various themes will be discussed in greater depth in a panel discussion with architects, building owners and authorities.

Following the presentations, the participants will visit a total renovation project nearby at Dreikönigsstrasse 7 in Zurich, a typical contemporary testament to the sixties, where glass elements have been activated by photovoltaic.

We are looking forward to an engaging exchange between professionals from architects, planners, building owners, authorities, solar installers and other interested parties.

As a subscriber of the newsletter from Solarchitecture.ch, you will receive a 10% discount on the participation fee for the attendance event: promo code is SYSB23SARC.
