Following the takeover of Kromatix Glass Tech SA by g-neration.energy AG, the production of coloured solar glass has been resumed. The expertise and rights for the production of this top-quality product remain in Swiss hands. From September, the potent coloured solar glasses will once again be available to all solar module manufacturers in Switzerland and abroad.

With the takeover of Kromatix Glass Tech SA, g-neration.energy AG is acquiring the trademark rights, technology and patents for the production of high-performance coloured solar glass. Thanks to the Kromatix technology with its unique glass coating process, aesthetically outstanding solar modules can be produced that are significantly more energy-efficient than conventional coloured solar modules. With the acquisition of Kromatix Glass Tech SA, g-neration.energy AG is ensuring the unrestricted availability of an important technology developed at EPFL Lausanne, securing jobs in Switzerland and enabling high-quality building-integrated solar solutions with high benefits for customers and great potential for the industry.
