Study Solar Tour 2019

As part of the Interreg V-A Italy-Switzerland project « BiPV meets History » on 20th November 2019 was organized a visit of two examples of solar architecture in Ticino.

 

Cristina Polo, researcher at the Institute of sustainability applied to the built environment of SUPSI and coordinator of the Interreg VA Italy-Switzerland project « BIPV meets History », organized a Study Solar Tour as part of the project activities Switzerland dedicated to examples of solar architecture.

The event was attended by the project partners, EURAC Research from Bolzano, Sunage SA and Greenkey Sagl, as well as a small group of other interested people.

 

Visits, carried out by deltaZERO SA architects from Lugano, Stefano de Angelis and Maria Mazza, and by Pierluigi Bonomo, Head of Innovative Envelope team at ISAAC, were transmitted via two live Facebook videos, at the Building Energy Modeling Course, held by Prof. Enrico de Angelis at the Milan Polytechnic, which followed live these interesting interventions.

In the afternoon there was also a visit to the Sunage SA photovoltaic Company, a Swiss leader in the production of BIPV solar modules for construction.
