20th Advanced Building Skins Conference & Expo

The 20th Advanced Building Skins Conference & Expo will take place on 3–4 November 2025 at the Kursaal Conference Center in Bern, Switzerland. Celebrating two decades as a leading forum on building envelopes, the event will gather architects, engineers, scientists and industry professionals from over 50 countries.

This year’s highlights include a keynote by architect James Timberlake on faCades as intelligent, multifunctional systems, as well as the world premiere presentation of the Burj Azizi in Dubai, a 725-meter skyscraper that pushes the limits of slender high-rise design. Across two days, participants will explore themes such as adaptive faCades, sustainable design, daylight optimization, and building-integrated photovoltaics.

To mark its anniversary, the conference will also host a celebratory evening at Bern’s historic Kornhauskeller on 3 November, offering a chance to network in a more relaxed setting. The event remains a unique opportunity to discover the latest innovations in façade technology and connect with leading voices shaping the future of sustainable architecture.
