Accorgimenti ecologici garantiscono che le attivit\u00e0 di utilizzo e gestione riducano al minimo l&#8217;impatto ambientale nel contesto naturale e di pregio in cui \u00e8 inserito.<br \/>\nLa sua forma eptagonale e il guscio rivestito da lastre di alluminio di colore rosso ossido sono stati scelti, oltre che per motivi estetici, per contrastare efficacemente l&#8217;accumulo di neve.<br \/>\n\u00c8 dotato di una cucina alimentata da bombole di gas liquido. Non \u00e8 riscaldata. All&#8217;interno non viene erogata acqua corrente. Un piccolo impianto fotovoltaico integrato fornisce energia per l&#8217;illuminazione interna e alimenta alcune stazioni USB per la ricarica di dispositivi elettronici.<br \/>\nLa toilette a secco non \u00e8 collegata all&#8217;interno, ma \u00e8 accessibile solo dall&#8217;esterno; La posizione scelta per il bivacco lo rende sicuro da frane e difficilmente raggiungibile da masse nevose valanghive. Tuttavia, la struttura portante, costituita da capriate in acciaio e travi di legno, \u00e8 stata ancorata al terreno per contrastare la spinta del vento e l\u2019\u201curto\u201d di eventuali valanghe.<br \/>L&#8217;involucro \u00e8 composto da pannelli prefabbricati in legno isolati con uno strato di lana minerale di 20 cm. Il rivestimento delle falde \u00e8 realizzato con lastre di alluminio, mentre le facciate est e ovest sono rivestite in perline di legno di larice.<br \/>Per consentire il trasporto del rifugio fino al Piano della Parete, la struttura \u00e8 stata suddivisa in 8 parti (4 inferiori e 4 superiori). I moduli avevano un peso compreso tra 1.400 e 2.100 kg.<br \/>Il pre-assemblaggio degli 8 moduli costitutivi del rifugio \u201cPiano della Parete\u201d \u00e8 stato eseguito pi\u00f9 in basso, nella valle (Dongio, Valle di Blenio), presso la falegnameria Truaisch&amp;Derighetti Sagl. Qui \u00e8 stato possibile completare gran parte del rivestimento delle pareti e identificare eventuali problemi di assemblaggio. Gli interni sono interamente realizzati in legno, mentre gli impianti elettrici e del gas sono stati installati esternamente alle pareti.<br \/>La fase di assemblaggio del modulo \u00e8 poi avvenuta tramite un volo stazionario con un elicottero speciale di tipo K-Max.
