Un cambiamento nelle dimensioni degli appartamenti era praticamente impossibile per motivi di costo. Di conseguenza si \u00e8 deciso di mantenere gli appartamenti di piccole dimensioni, anche se \u00e8 stato possibile aggiungere un piano superiore con appartamenti pi\u00f9 grandi. L\u2019edificio ora comprende 50 appartamenti da 1 a 3 stanze.<\/p>\n<p>Nell&#8217;edificio vivono circa 60 persone con un fabbisogno totale di spazio di 35 m\u00b2 a persona. Il fabbisogno di acqua calda relativamente elevato abbinato alle grandi superfici della facciata e la rimozione di una condotta dell&#8217;aria di scarico del parcheggio sotterraneo hanno portato ad un nuovo concetto energetico: 180 m\u00b2 di collettori solari termici integrati nelle facciate e un serbatoio di accumulo dell&#8217;acqua alto 19 metri inserito nel vecchio condotto di scarico. Una pompa di calore con quattro sonde geotermiche e 150 m\u00b2 di moduli fotovoltaici posati sul tetto completano il sistema energetico. Il colabrodo energetico del passato \u00e8 ora completamente attrezzato per le esigenze attuali. I collettori solari verticali allungano l&#8217;edificio verso l&#8217;alto e sono ricoperti da un vetro che cambia il suo aspetto dal bronzo all&#8217;argento (Kromatix).
