Ismail Architects, est le premier b\u00e2timent \u00e0 \u00e9nergie z\u00e9ro de Suisse, qui fait preuve d&rsquo;une architecture solaire avanc\u00e9e. L&rsquo;une des principales caract\u00e9ristiques de la conception est l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration d&rsquo;une installation photovolta\u00efque (BIPV) dans les fa\u00e7ades, o\u00f9 les parapets des fen\u00eatres recouverts de modules photovolta\u00efques remplissent plusieurs fonctions: production d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, ombrage et r\u00e9duction du bruit provenant de l&rsquo;autoroute adjacente. De plus, les modules photovolta\u00efques install\u00e9s sur le toit plat contribuent de mani\u00e8re significative \u00e0 la production d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. La combinaison de ces syst\u00e8mes permet de produire environ quatre fois les besoins \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques du b\u00e2timent, l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 exc\u00e9dentaire \u00e9tant inject\u00e9e dans le r\u00e9seau municipal de Coire. Afin d&rsquo;optimiser les performances solaires, le b\u00e2timent est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9ments d&rsquo;ombrage fixes qui \u00e9liminent le besoin de stores motoris\u00e9s tout en emp\u00eachant la surchauffe. Des fen\u00eatres \u00e0 triple vitrage haute performance renforcent encore l&rsquo;isolation, r\u00e9duisant ainsi la demande \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique globale.
