Les besoins en \u00e9nergie sont tr\u00e8s faibles, de sorte qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;est pas n\u00e9cessaire d&rsquo;avoir un syst\u00e8me de chauffage central accompagn\u00e9 par un syst\u00e8me de ventilation contr\u00f4l\u00e9. L&rsquo;approvisionnement en chaleur est assur\u00e9 par l&rsquo;exploitation des gains solaires passifs et des charges internes dues aux personnes et aux appareils. Les murs sont constitu\u00e9s d&rsquo;une structure en bois qui agit \u00e0 la fois comme \u00e9l\u00e9ment statique et \u00e0 la fois comme \u00e9l\u00e9ment d&rsquo;isolation thermique, qui garantit le confort thermique sans qu&rsquo;il soit n\u00e9cessaire d&rsquo;utiliser une couche isolante suppl\u00e9mentaire.
