Der Standort des Biwaks ist erdrutschsicher, und es ist unwahrscheinlich, dass er von den Schneemassen der Lawinen erreicht werden kann. Dennoch wurde die tragende Struktur der Konstruktion, bestehend aus Stahltr\u00e4gern und Holzbalken, im Boden verankert, um dem Winddruck und dem Anprall eventueller Lawinen entgegenzuwirken.<br \/>Die Geb\u00e4udeh\u00fclle besteht aus vorgefertigten Holzpaneelen, die mit einer 20 cm dicken Schicht Steinwolle isoliert sind. F\u00fcr die Dacheindeckung wurden Aluminiumplatten gew\u00e4hlt, w\u00e4hrend die Ost- und Westfassade mit L\u00e4rchenholz-Schalungen verkleidet ist.<br \/>Um die Bergh\u00fctte bis zum \u201ePiano della Parete\u201d transportieren zu k\u00f6nnen, wurde die Struktur in 8 Module unterteilt (4 untere und 4 obere, je nach Modul mit einem Gewicht zwischen 1.400 und 2.100 kg).<br \/>Die Vormontage der 8 Module, die die \u201ePiano della Parete\u201c-H\u00fctte bilden, wurde weiter unten im Tal (Dongio, Bleniotal) in der Schreinerei Truaisch&amp;Derighetti Sagl durchgef\u00fchrt. Dort war es m\u00f6glich, den Grossteil der Wandverkleidung fertigzustellen und Montageprobleme zu identifizieren. Die Innenr\u00e4ume sind vollst\u00e4ndig mit \u00a0Holz ausgebaut, und die Elektro- und Gasinstallation wurde ausserhalb der W\u00e4nde ausgef\u00fchrt.<br \/>Die Montagephase erfolgte dann mit einem speziellen K-Max-Helikopter im station\u00e4ren Flugzustand.
