Das neue Wohnhaus lehnt sich volumetrisch an die einfachen Geb\u00e4udek\u00f6rper von l\u00e4ndlichen Nutzbauten an.<br \/>Zur Tobelhofstrasse hin wird eine bepflanzte Laubengangschicht ausgebildet, welche im Erdgeschoss eine Arkade zur Erschliessung der beiden Eing\u00e4nge \u00fcbernimmt und in den oberen Geschossen einen Filter zur Strasse bildet.<br \/>Das Innere des Hauses wird gepr\u00e4gt durch die Tragstruktur aus vorfabrizierte Betonst\u00fctzen und -unterz\u00fcgen, welche den Takt der Wohnungen vorgeben. Mittels vor den St\u00fctzen parkierbaren Schiebeelementen, die sich in der Ebene der Unterz\u00fcge verschieben lassen, k\u00f6nnen &#8211; \u00e4hnlich wie beim japanischen Haus &#8211; verschiedene Wohnsituationen orchestriert werden.<br \/>Im S\u00fcden \u00f6ffnet sich das Geb\u00e4ude mit einer grossz\u00fcgigen Verandaschicht zur Landschaft und zum gemeinschaftlichen Garten. Die unteren vier Reihen sind mit Hybridmodulen (PVT) ausgestattet, die Sonnenenergie in Strom und W\u00e4rme umwandeln. Das Dach wurde gr\u00f6sstenteils in der Werkstatt vorgefertigt, damit es vor Ort schnell montiert werden konnte. Die PV-Module ruhen auf einer h\u00f6lzernen Unterkonstruktion, die ihrerseits auf vorgefertigten Betonbalken ruht. Die 18 Dachelemente, die aus drei verschiedenen Typen bestehen, wurden bereits mit der Unterkonstruktion f\u00fcr die Solarmodule versehen auf die Baustelle geliefert.
