Die Fassade \u00fcbernimmt eine Vielzahl von Aufgaben: Schutz, Klimaregulierung, Repr\u00e4sentation, Identifikation. Es war ein zentrales Anliegen, dass die Produktion von elektrischer Energie als zus\u00e4tzliche Eigenschaft hinzukommt und einen beinahe nahtlosen Anschluss an die Bestandsbauten zul\u00e4sst, ohne die st\u00e4dtebaulichen und architektonischen Qualit\u00e4ten der \u00dcberbauung zu mindern. Zu diesem Zweck wurden f\u00fcr die zwei neuen Geb\u00e4ude Verkleidungselemente verwendet, die denjenigen der\u00a0 sechs Bestandsbauten sehr \u00e4hnlich sind. Bei genauerem Hinsehen erkennt man jedoch je nach Einfallswinkel der Sonne, dass es sich nicht um schwarz emaillierte Glasscheiben, sondern um fassadenintegrierte Photovoltaik-Module
