In Beantwortung des Auftrags wurde die Renovierung eines Geb\u00e4udes aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, das fr\u00fcher ein Presshaus war, und die Planung eines neuen Hauses vorgeschlagen. Das Projekt folgt den vorherrschenden Merkmalen dieses l\u00e4ndlichen Ortes, an dem einzelne, zu Konglomeraten zusammengefasste Bauk\u00f6rper Raum und Schutz f\u00fcr die allt\u00e4glichen Aktivit\u00e4ten bieten. Durch das Hinzuf\u00fcgen eines Hauses, dessen Form an eine Scheune erinnert, wurde das Zusammenspiel der Volumen zwischen den B\u00e4umen um ein weiteres Element erg\u00e4nzt. Der Garten bleibt der Ort der Identit\u00e4t, wo das restaurierte Presshaus und die neue Grange (Scheune) einen Innenhof bilden, ohne die umgebende Landschaft zu \u201eunterbrechen&#8220;. Der Grundriss jedes Hauses ist um einen grossz\u00fcgigen Raum herum angelegt, der den Bewohnern beider H\u00e4user als sozialer Mittelpunkt dient. Somit k\u00f6nnen die beiden H\u00e4user als ein gemeinsamer Ort bewohnt werden.
