Eine \u00c4nderung der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Wohnungen war aus Kostengr\u00fcnden praktisch unm\u00f6glich. Deshalb wurde beschlossen, die Wohnungen klein zu halten. Es war jedoch m\u00f6glich, ein Obergeschoss mit gr\u00f6\u00dferen Wohnungen hinzuzuf\u00fcgen. Das Geb\u00e4ude verf\u00fcgt nun \u00fcber 50 Wohnungen mit 1 bis 3 Zimmern.<br \/>\nIn diesem Geb\u00e4ude wohnen ca. 60 Personen, wobei der Fl\u00e4chenbedarf pro Person insgesamt 35 m\u00b2 betr\u00e4gt. Die Tatsache, dass ein relativ hoher Warmwasserbedarf besteht, eine gro\u00dfe, gut besonnte Fassadenfl\u00e4chen vorhanden ist und ein Abluftkanal aus der Tiefgarage entfernt werden sollte, hat zu einem neuen Energiekonzept gef\u00fchrt: 180 m\u00b2 in die Fassade integrierte Sonnenkollektoren und ein 19 m hoher Wasserspeicher, der in den alten Abluftkanal eingesetzt wird. Erdsonden in Verbindung mit einer W\u00e4rmepumpe und 150 m\u00b2 Photovoltaikmodule, die auf dem Dach installiert sind, vervollst\u00e4ndigen das Energiesystem. Das einstige Energiesieb ist heute ein System, das voll und ganz den heutigen Bed\u00fcrfnissen entspricht. Die vertikalen Sonnenkollektoren verl\u00e4ngern das Geb\u00e4ude nach oben und sind mit Glas abgedeckt, dessen Erscheinungsbild von Bronze zu Silber (Kromatix) wechselt.
